Dean Wang is a senior at Rochester Century High School, devoted to advocacy and scientific research for public health. His passion for social health entrepreneurship was inspired by witnessing widespread global health issues. Dean is the author of Strong As Always, contributing to the amelioration of mental distress in youth. He conducts research at the Mayo Clinic and Massachusetts General Hospital as an RSI Scholar. Dean is one of the youngest members of the Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance (WHPCA), where he advocates for the eradication of healthcare inequities. He is also a member of the Minnesota Junior Academy of Science, working to promote science education equity for underrepresented students. In addition, Dean serves as the Minnesota BPA Executive Vice President, helping improve education and leadership for students across the state.
