Youth Advocacy

Our founder, Danielle, serves as a Youth Representative of UNICEF USA. She has helped establish Minneapolis as the 2nd Child-Friendly City in the United States! This is a monumental move for expanded children's rights, physical health, and mental well-being. Youth advocacy is more important than ever to get our voices heard and call for the changes we need to see a brighter future for all!

Rare Diseases Day

On February 29th, we celebrate Rare Diseases Day. Often overlooked but vitally important, rare diseases are celebrated on Leap Day to highlight the rarity and importance they have. To raise awareness, FlairCare will be publishing our new children's book on Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP), a rare musculoskeletal disease. Stay tuned and let's continue fighting disease!

National Family Caregiver Month

Admist the bleak, snowy month of January, we created "happy bags" for patients in Southern Minnesota hospitals. Our goal was to bring joy and comfort to those going through a tough time. We will never forget the look of gratitude on a patient's face as they received their gift. The hope and joy in their eyes served as a powerful reminder of the impact that a small gesture of kindness can have. These gifts are part of our dedication to making every patient's day brighter, every smile wider, and every laugh louder.

October 14th, 2022 is a day for raising international awareness of the need for children’s palliative care and the work of children’s palliative care (CPC) services worldwide. FlairCare is proud to join ICPCN on its 9th annual Hats On for Children’s Palliative Care campaign. We will also be donating books to our local medical center. #HatsOn4CPC

FlairCare is excited to announce a new partnership with CureSearch! The FlairCare team will be at the September 17th Walk! The CureSearch Walk is an event for families, communities, and businesses across the country to come together either in person or virtually to celebrate the kids who beat cancer, support those currently fighting, and remember those we’ve lost. This is why we walk.
